AWMA Water Control Solutions are pleased to announce the launch of AWMA New Zealand Limited.
The demand for AWMA’s specialised water control infrastructure has been in a state of continued growth within the New Zealand marketplace for the past five years. As a result, we are pleased to welcome Michael Apeldoorn to the role of AWMA Regional Manager New Zealand.
Based in Christchurch, Michael is working in a full time capacity to support our existing NZ clients, assist new customers, continue our local industry affiliations and further develop opportunities for AWMA water control infrastructure, across the country.

AWMA’s product range includes water control gates (penstocks, stop boards, bulkheads etc), flood barriers and intake screens. All proven products are custom designed and manufactured to ensure they meet site and operational requirements. AWMA offer our expertise early in the project design phase to ensure all viable design efficiencies can be realised, Michael’s professional skills and experience coupled with his training program at AWMA’s Victorian Head Office and Manufacturing Plant make him a valuable contributor.
