Apprentice Welder

Certificate III – Engineering Fabrication Trade

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, leading edge company. Based in Cohuna, you will undertake your training as part of a world leading team.

As an AWMA apprentice you will learn to:

  • Fabricate custom water control gates
  • Use power tools &  welders
  • Use jigs
  • Read drawings
  • Measure and cut materials accurately

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have completed year 11
  • Be able to cope with the physical demands of the job
  • Be safety conscious
  • Be committed and reliable
  • Good reading and writing skills
  • Experience with metals and advantage
