FLOOD PROTECTION FOR CORPORATE INFRASTRUCTURE
An international services company, located on the Brisbane River, engaged AWMA to custom design and manufacture flood barriers that will isolate their corporate offices during flood events.
Frames for AWMA’s Demountable Flood Barriers were installed at the basement level, door entry points.
Barrier segments are then manually inserted, quickly and easily when required, to protect the doorways from rising flood waters.
Frames were also installed around the external switchboard air vents. Manual flood gates can then be immediately installed to isolate the vents.
