AWMA continue to work with Goulburn-Murray Water on many irrigation modernisation solutions, for new and existing structures across the northern Victorian irrigation area.
The Avoca Floodway Regulators were upgraded to incorporate three aluminium ULF undershot gates 1.5m wide x 1.3m high with bevel gearboxes for manual operation and handrails to reduce operational OH&S risks.
The AWMA regulators allow excess flood water to flow from the Avoca River into the main channel system.
