John Holland Tunnelling engaged AWMA to assist with the high profile Melbourne Water project The Northern Sewerage Project.
The Northern Sewerage Project (NSP) involves the construction of 12.5 km of new sewer from Reservoir to Essendon and is a $650 million investment in Melbourne’s future.
The NSP is an essential infrastructure project that will increase the capacity of the sewerage system for Melbourne’s growing northern suburbs and help protect local creeks by virtually eliminating sewage spills that can occur after heavy rain.
The infrastructure for this project required significant engineering. AWMA’s unique capacity to achieve innovative designs using grade 2507 stainless steel resulted in custom manufactured products that exceeded all requirements.
