Three dual leaf Combination gates were supplied to the Yarriambiack Shire Council. The structures will greatly improve flood capacity and reduce future impacts of flooding in the township of Warracknabeal.
The mulit-leaf gates are designed to regulate a constant water level in the Yarriambiack Creek at all times.
The distinguishing benefit of the AWMA Combination Gate is that both gate sections can be completely raised out of the water during flood events, for emergency downstream water release.
We have been very impressed with the dealings that we have had with AWMA in regards to on-site visits and assistance with the design and manufacturing stages, we have been kept well informed during theses stages. Thank you.” – Bernie Naylor, Infrastructure Services Manager of the Yarriambiack Shire Council
