This role shall be based at our Head Office in Cohuna.  As the national leader in Water Control Solutions, AWMA is renowned for its successful delivery of water control infrastructure projects. AWMA currently employ in excess of 50 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tools and systems to enable accurate estimation of AWMA’s products and services
  • Support the sales team with costs based on client supplied requirements
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all requirements are captured
  • Support quote preparation and tender submissions
  • Work within AWMA’s documented quality systems and CRM/ERP systems
  • Continually review and refine estimation tools/systems to maintain AWMA as the market leader

Required Experience:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a qualification in mechanical engineering preferred
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Proven solution-focused estimator
  • Ability to interpret specifications and drawings
  • Capable of adapting/customising existing tools suit project/client specific needs/requirements
  • Loyal, self-motivated, well-presented and driven
  • Ability to learn, develop and succeed in a high paced environment
  • Work autonomously in a team environment
  • Proven stable work history
  • Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Work well under pressure, organise with efficient time management to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Accept responsibility and accountability
  • Manage multiple tenders
  • Source and liase with multiple suppliers and subcontractors
  • Work through and identify tender risks and provide clarifications, etc to management
  • Prepare project budgets for review
  • Thrives on process set up and improvement
  • Assist in the review of contracts and contract terms and conditions
