SEEKING: DESPATCH/YARDMAN

Despatch / Yardman Team Member required in Cohuna

Reporting to the Factory Foreman you will be responsible for:

  • Organising finished goods in the yard
  • Packaging of outwards goods and associated paperwork
  • Loading trucks for despatch
  • General housekeeping and cleanliness of yard

AWMA design, manufacture and install aluminium and stainless steel water control gates including remote control and monitoring for environmental management.

This is a full time role 40 hours per week. Some overtime and weekend work may be required during the stock take period and at times of heavy production.

This role is a physical, hands-on role in a busy area of the business. Accuracy, attention to detail, planning, organisation and communication are all essential skills for this role.

Previous experience in warehousing and/or inventory management would be advantageous, but not essential.

  • Use of powered hand tools

Essential High Risk Licenses:

  • Forklift
  • Non-slewing crane
